Walk in the Footsteps of The Easter Rising

1916, Irish Independence, & a coffee

Dublin 1 day 6 stops 3.0 hours 526

Ireland is a relatively new country, with its centenary celebrations currently in full flow having commenced in 2016 - marking the 100th anniversary of the 1916 rising. This rebellious statement by the Irish was built upon poetry, politics, and an unwavering commitment to the self, and pride of a nation. There are numerous points around the streets of Dublin, in all honesty they decorate almost every quarter, but in this short stroll you'll visit the heart of The Easter Rising, and the people who stood behind it.

Make sure you have a look along the top of the GPO, if you look close enough you'll still see the bullet holes from the fighting!
