This gentle route uphill will take you from cafe to restaurant stopping by some of the most remarkable gardens, museums and local food joints. We start off at the old Royal Shipyard, where there is a very cozy cafe terrace perfect to touch base. As we head up we will pass by an urban park with three big chimneys that remind us of Barcelona's industrial past. Carrer Blai is a very lively street that holds place to very good and affordable food joints following the tradition of Northern-Spanish gastronomy: Pintxos! 'Blai Tonight' is a nice place to stop for lunch or dinner and fuel up. Up we go till we reach the Miró Art Foundation, a modern architecture treasure and inside, an excellent contemporary art collection of the artist Joan Miró. Right next to there there is a romantic style garden and a fine restaurant where to stop at. They are a bit off track from the general tourist sites and can be really enjoyed. Finally we reach the entrance of the MNAC museum, that we can enter for free on Sunday afternoons. Right in that entrance we have great views of the city and a perfect place to finish off this complete and diverse walk into the food, art and architecture of Barcelona. Enjoy!

Studied Architecture. Enthusiastic about buildings and humans. I take pictures with old cameras and like to explore the city by bike or using my own legs.
