Just walking around Paris can remind you of the history of France, visiting museums such as Louvre can retell you battles that fought on the ground you know step. But, some secret places can really tell a thousand stories at once – one of those are the Flea Markets of Paris and the traditional cliché bistros or cabarets that surround them. Here, all of the now famous artists that painted the paintings you see in the biggest Parisian museums, drank, ate, argued and laughed. Here is where they got ideas, here is where the history began – and where history firstly should be retraced. This tour is inspired by my most cliché Parisian day out – but one of those that gave me thousands of quirky smiles and made me see French people differently.
