There is no shortage of picturesque districts in Paris and the Latin Quarter is definitely one of them. Named after university students from the area, this left bank neighborhood is well-known for its stone-paved alleyways, quirky bookstores, ancient churches, and museums. It is also one of the oldest areas in Paris and houses dozens of higher education institutions including the famous La Sorbonne University.
