There is more to Wimbledon than just the tennis. This affluent suburb of London is home to some fantastic restaurants, one of a kind boutiques, delicious gastro pubs and a stunning common. On the end of the district line, as well as being served by several train companies, this town is worth a trip outside of the tennis season to soak up a village atmosphere right on the outskirts of town. You may even bump into Boris Becker who resides here.
