Covent Garden is one of London's landmarks for many good reasons. This is a location full of literary history as well as being a great place to eat, shop and watch the street entertainers. This walk shows some of the highlights of Covent Garden's literary and theatrical history and includes a visit to the famous 'actors' church recently featured in the novel Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch. Opportunities for refreshment include the historic Lamb and Flag pub and Rules restaurant, reputedly the oldest restaurant in London. Covent Garden has a wonderful range of shops, from the quirky Benjamin Pollock's Toy Shop to the chic Chanel.
